alist is a private, single-user, self-hosted file browser. This policy explains how it handles Google user data. The only Google account connected to it is the owner's own.
With the owner's authorization, the app accesses the Google Drive scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive): file and folder names, metadata, thumbnails and file contents.
The data is used only to show the owner's Drive in the file browser and to carry out the downloads, uploads and file operations the owner requests. It is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics or training machine-learning models.
The OAuth tokens are stored in the app's database on the owner's own server, and are included in encrypted backups that the owner keeps. File contents pass through the server when transferred and may be held briefly in temporary storage during a transfer. The app does not keep a separate copy of the owner's files.
Google user data is not sold or shared with third parties. The server runs on rented cloud infrastructure, whose provider processes data only as hosting.
The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Removing the connection from the app deletes its stored tokens; copies in encrypted backups expire as those backups are rotated.
